As an interior designer with a passion for unique Spanish architecture, my stay at Floating House in Tarifa provided a mix of value and luxury tucked away in nature. The setting is serene, offering stunning views of the Mediterranean and Morocco, perfect for nature lovers. However, the property's maintenance was lacking, with neglected grounds and shared spaces. The communal living setup may not suit all guests, especially single travelers assigned small rooms.On the upside, amenities like a fully furnished kitchen and spacious terrace create a cozy atmosphere for mingling with other guests. The free Wi-Fi and convenient parking were practical perks. The hotel's proximity to Tarifa, a short walk away, allowed for easy exploration of the old city and nearby beaches.In conclusion, Floating House offers a budget-friendly option with a rustic charm that may appeal to those seeking a laid-back experience close to nature while sacrificing some luxury and privacy.
